70 Bible Verses for New Home Construction

When we began building our new home, I knew one thing I definitely wanted to do during the framing stage of our build. It is a dedication of our home of sorts, and we will did it by writing some of our favorite bible verses on the walls and framing of our new house.

It was such a fun and meaningful time for our family. I love knowing that God’s word is written on the walls of our new home build.

We chose scriptures that are meaningful to us as a family. For example, our son is named after the verse Micah 6:8, which is written on the walls of his room. We wrote verses from Proverbs 31 in our master bedroom and verses from Joshua in our dining room. We wrote Deuteronomy 28:6 on the frame of our front door. Proverbs 3:24 is written in our daughter’s room.

Teaching our children the word of God is so important to us, and was such an incredible time for our family.
