In this article, you will find a wide collection of miter saw workbench table plans. I have included options from rolling mobile miter saw cart stations, to the more built-in style of miter saw workbenches for a garage shop. You will be able to find some really great options to build a miter saw stand that best fits your needs.
Miter saw workbench stations are such an integral upgrade to your shop. By building a stand, your work will be more efficient and accurate, which is something that is so valuable when creating woodworking projects.
In fact, I built a mobile miter saw station a few years ago and I’m so glad I did. I built it when I upgraded my miter saw to the 12 inch Dewalt Sliding Compound Miter Saw. These two upgrades (the DWS 779 Chop Saw and the mobile miter saw station) helped me create better quality pieces in a shorter amount of time. I highly recommend both of them!
It’s important to note that you don’t have to have a very expensive miter saw to make quality pieces. I used a 7 1/4″ Ryobi Miter Saw for years and for countless projects before I bought a nicer one. It got the job done (to say the least) and was truly a great starter miter saw. It’s still sitting in the corner of my garage because I just can’t bring myself to get rid of it!
