One of our upstairs bedrooms doesn’t have a closet. Yeah, I know…weird. So can it even technically be considered a bedroom? Anyways, I’ve been looking for a wardrobe or armoire to put in there and I found this bold dude for sale…
My husband has an inexplicable hatred for the color red. I haven’t figured out where it comes from yet, but I’ll get to the bottom of it eventually. And I’ll fill you in. Because I know you care. Right!?
I felt like being a little funky with this one…a little out of the norm. A white piece would go best in this room, but I was getting a little tired of all-white pieces.
Those big, blank doors looked a little boring to me. I thought about putting fabric on them somehow or maybe just painting them a different color. Then I thought of a metal backsplash. From a kitchen. For my wardrobe. Random? Yup. That’s how I roll.
One minor problem: The metal sheets that I found costs around $20/square foot. I would need at least 4 (maybe more). That’s a little more than I want to spend, especially on something that might be a bust.
So, I checked out ebay and found the same prices. Anyways, long story short (kinda), I found these faux ceiling tiles. At $3/piece, I figured I’d just give it a go.
